Ramune Flavors Guide: How to Open It and What to Try
Ramune is one of Japan's most famous sodas, and half the fun is opening it. The bottle is sealed with a glass marble, so you push the marble down into the neck to open it. Then you get a sweet, lightly fizzy soda in dozens of flavors. Here's how to open a Ramune and which flavors to try first.

How to open a Ramune bottle
- Remove the plastic wrap from the cap and take off the plastic opener.
- Place the opener on top of the bottle, over the marble.
- Press down firmly with your palm until the marble drops into the neck, then hold it for a few seconds while the fizz settles.
- When you drink, turn the bottle so the marble rests in the little notches in the neck and doesn't block the flow.
